The Team

The Management Team in conjunction with the staff and assistant managers will supervise daily operations to procure efficient and effective services. This includes all aspects of our projects such as site matters, staff instructions, procurement, management and administration services, and daily liaison with client and employees.
Profits are important, but equally so is the upliftment of our staff and the surrounding communities.

We employ non-key staff local to the area in which the site is situated and strive for an 95% local recruitment programme. Local suppliers are enlisted as far as possible. Our team of lawyers ensures that we comply to country governance wherever we may be within the SADC region.

Ian Armstrong

Managing Director Fresh Camp Services

Based in Knysna, Ian has 30 years’ experience in the field of hospitality, management, contract management, finance, and business development. Having spent many years in the hotel industry and GM at various hotels, Ian has amassed vast amounts of experience in all aspects of hospitality management. In the past 10 years Ian focused his efforts on the financial aspects of camp management which includes contract negotiations, financial models, contract rollout, site management and business development. Ian has spent time in Mozambique, Botswana, and Namibia where he was country manager for various catering companies until entering into his own camp management company where he holds the position of Managing Director for the entire group.


Celeste Enslin

Financial Manager Fresh Camp Services

Based in Windhoek, Celeste has 25 years’ experience in the financial sector throughout Namibia, Botswana, and South Africa, with extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.

Michael Culhane

Construction and Development

As a quantity survey and die-hard operations director in various fields of construction, Mike brings 35 years’ experience of construction projects throughout the Republic of South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Eswatini and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Mike’s projects experience and include but are not limited hospitals, shopping centres and other retail outlets, hotel construction, corporate offices, and of course our camps and villages.

Teri Claasen


Teri has a lengthy career in corporate catering and facilities management, in operations and as a commercial manager. Her expertise spans 30 years’ experience working in blue chip organizations such as factories and mines, demonstrating excellent strategic and operational performance and standards, with astute diligence and deadlines, producing quality results in a challenging environment. As a self-proclaimed foodie and critic, Teri strives to ensure that services provided are to her exacting standards.

Henry Rudling

New Business

Henry has travelled extensively through the SADC region specialising in electronic and electrical systems. Henry brings his vast knowledge of the region to the company, and through his unflinching integrity is an asset to the business in assisting in establishing positive and lasting relationships with our partners and clients.
